After brainstorming a bit with the hostess, we both agreed on an exquisite theme that best fit her personality and my vintage inspired collection. The theme we agreed on was “The Great Gatsby". My fascination for the 1920's era definitely reflected on the designs I chose to make my cocktail adornments, favor bags/keepsakes, feathered headbands and banner. When I think of the Roaring 20's, several images come to mind, the iconic flapper girls beautifully detailed drop waist dresses, boyish bob hairstyles, speak easy bars, and who can forget the ever so bold “Red Lip” of that decade!

Jewelry Table Set-Up
I decided to go with an elegant crystal vase and two large plumes in black as my table scape to fit the “Great Gatsby” theme. I also chose a dark purple linen table cloth as a runner to display my pieces along with my custom made Justbecca's Jewelry vintage vinyl banner.

Guests
Not only were the girls in full character as soon as they arrived, but my lovely co-host Rebecca Borreo was “In Full Swing” wearing a timeless flapper dress and matching shoes! The lady of the hour Christina C. was also dressed to impress in a form fitting elegant empire waist silhouette that made heads turn! I can't express how happy it made me to see the ladies play dress up with my handmade flapper headbands and sip out of their vintage shoe cocktail adornments. As usual, the amazing Geanine Petraglia of graced us with her presence, and anyone who is friends with Geanine knows, she is the life of the party!
An Awesome Collaboration
Not only was this mixer a jewelry/birthday party, but we kicked things up a notch by having (my long time friend) the AMAZING Lily Agosto provide the ladies with her breathtaking makeup services! The makeup theme for the evening was a “Sultry Smokey Eye”(which she nailed by the way) and the iconic 1920's red lip! Lily is no stranger to the glitz and glamor as she already has a pretty impressive resume as an actress, writer, producer & TV personality just to name a few. It was such a joy for me personally to team up with her on a professional level and it was of no surprise how well we worked together! I can't wait till our next collaboration!
As The Evening Came To An End...
As Lily and I wrapped things up, we could not help but notice how amazing the ladies looked and how much fun they were having enjoying each others company. In between snapping photos to show off their freshly done makeup, sipping on yummy jolly rancher cocktails and displaying their newly purchased Justbecca's Jewelry pieces, we felt overwhelmed with joy! There's no better feeling than making a women look and feel magnificent!
